📍 1.1 miles from EnviroVent Stadium
Listed by Football Ground Guide as a recommended option for visiting supporters, The Little Ale House is a central Harrogate micropub that’s ideal for a pre- or post-match pint. It’s around 350m from Harrogate railway station, making it convenient for away fans arriving by train. The pub focuses on well-kept cask and keg beer (regularly rotating) and a quiet, conversation-first atmosphere with no TVs, so it’s more about quality pints than watching the early kick-off. These traits make it a reliable, crowd-friendly meet spot before heading to the Exercise/EnviroVent Stadium or for a wind-down afterwards.
Lovely little pub. Brilliant beer and cider selection. Friendly staff and knowledgeable about the different beet on offer. The decor is great, love the fires and minimalist decorations. Only downside was a group of loud people - the acoustics in the room did not help dampen their noise. But once they were gone it was blissfully peaceful...
The best pub in Harrogate. Cozy and warm. Richard always has a great variety of excellent beers on. Great service, great vibe, a must visit!
What a fab place. Staff and ambience are spot on. Great quality and selection of beers. Will be back there on our next visit to Harrogate.
Only made a quick half pint pit stop to this micro bar as Jorvic told me that it is in the CAMRA 2025 Good Beer Guide. Choice of 5 real ales. Casta told me to have the Wharfedale best. Very good. One room bar with small front terrace. Opens late afternoon.
Made a special trip here for flat ciders, They had three different ones on. Friendly staff, lovely little pub with a beer garden at the back and on the front too. A real sun trap. Deffo will return here.
