It’s a town-centre pub with food service and cask options, so groups can eat and drink without moving on. An away-fan blog records visiting supporters using The Alexandra pre-match in the town centre before heading to Wetherby Road. It’s also walkable from Harrogate rail station (about 10 minutes), which helps travelling fans connect by train and still catch early kick-offs on TV.

Fantastic pub! Amazing Sunday lunch, full of flavour and always has attention to a well cooked and presented plate. Staff are very accommodating. Do not hesitate to visit this Harrogate gem. X
I loved the atmosphere here. The staff were fantastic—JP , Daniel and dan were super helpful with drink recommendations and just who they are as people very friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Great food to choose from snacks to meals , different areas to sit from bar to quiet family space , sports, pool tables, and plenty of drink to choose from . Well done guys keep it up 10/10 :)
Visiting Harrogate for a couple of days, popped in the first evening for a quick drink and found really friendly staff that you could banter with. Went back the next afternoon and had the best club sandwich ever, the fries were amazing too! Would happily travel the 2.5hrs it takes to get there just to have it again!
Lovely Saturday in here! Staff were especially friendly, not least of all Josh behind the bar. Always has a smile on his face and is glad to see you. Would recommend to anyone 👍
I think you need to look for a new chef... I ordered the chicken and chorizo which cost £16 and although the potatoes and sauce were really nice the chicken had blatantly been just heated back up as it was dry and turned cold before too long. The brocolli was under done. The chorizo was nice. The dish went cold very quickly. My partner who also ate with me is a head chef and he had the escalope which he said was okay but nothing to write home about. I should have said something really but I didn't want to make a fuss. We weren't asked once if the food was okay, even when it was collected. The guy with the black shirt was really nice and helpful at the bar. For money like that it can't be that difficult to get a piece of chicken right surely......
