Rooms are a little dated and very warm in the summer but for the price, I am not complaining in the slightest. Plus the bed is πŸ’― the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The man that welcomed us was so friendly we felt at home immediately. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. We had the steak and wine offer which was lovely. Next time we have an event at yeovil show ground we will definitely book again as it is a 5 min walk, also its a short drive into town.

Amazing lunch to celebrate a missed birthday. Very impressed with the beautiful and friendly staff this was lunchtime 30th January. Food was homecooked and well presented and tasty . Service above and beyond. Mostly oldies like us but staff very attentive with everyone. They bought out desert with some candles and decorated the table. Hope to return soon as deserves all the custom it gets. Well done to the staff and chef and manager.

This was a nice guest room above a lively bar/restaurant. Ensuite bathroom, comfy bed, smart TV (need your own account if you want to watch Netflix, iPlayer, etc), and WiFi.Town centre and Yeovil Park are within walking distance (luckily the roadworks had pedestrian access). If you're exploring the wider Somerset, a car is required. No breakfast provided sadly (I went to Morrisons for cooked breakfast and Lidl for continental, both ~5 minutes away), but they have good lunch/evening food which they can take up to your room.

Went for Sunday lunch today (Easter Sunday). With my partner. Food was lovely and great fast , friendly service. Shame the few steps to bar are so steep ( I am disabled) but overall a good experience and would definitely recommend the food. Will be recommending to others. Thank you.

I'm becoming a local. That's the way I am treated whenever I go in for an evening cocktail. The owner makes me feel like family even though I'm thousands of miles away and I need to cross oceans to get there. I love Pete and his staff. He goes above and beyond to make his place, your place. He gives to many charities by way of holding events, offering incredible discounts, and he was even kind enough to help make my special man feel loved on his birthday. Spirits are plentiful and charm is endless. If you want to see old world πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ , this is a must. You will not be disappointed. Dogs are given the golden treatment too. Lush lush lush
