The pub where it all started. Southend United were formed back in 1906 in the Blue Bore Pub in 1906. Originally planning at Roots Hall before moving out due to World War One as the military required the ground. They eventually returned in 1955.

Been my local for all my life, I don't always get to come though due to work and other bits and bobs going on but each time I come here it's always been a great experience with staff and customers, who I become great friends with on of them and I never had a bad time there, so if your free and in the area I'd recommend going in and have a good old laugh and catch up with your mates. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Appeared to be a small "clickey type pub'. Probably gets used a lot on football days. Was a disco and party the day I went, with happy people. Staff were smiley and friendly, and quick and efficient serving. Prices appeared very reasonable. No parking on site.
