1st visit = bad experience. Was sat in this establishment very busy but also not nice people. People sat on table waving items of clothing around and then one of my party had a drink spilt over them and they was approached and the attitude was disgusting sarcasm from public and unprofessional response from door staff. Extremely unhappy so a return from will not be had.

This was a fantastic pub to visit, with live entertainment making the atmosphere! Karaoke is fun and interactive with anyone allowed to get up, counter is well-presented too. Me and my friend enjoy Sourz shots on a deal, appreciating the style of the rich architecture too!

Unfortunately this was my 1st time in this place. Sat having a nice drink friends and Unfortunately there was people in there that was drunk and waving things around and split a drink over one of my party she was approached is a annoyed manner and then oh dear that customer was not happy the situation was tried to be defused by the door men but Unfortunately the response i gor was what do you want to do throw each one out and you get a free drink very unprofessional. Not a great experience.

Downhill massively since new people have taken over. Gerry had it running well, Cheryl and Rob then took that and built something more. Now these clowns have taken over. Cut down on the staff that were there and knew what they were doing to replace them with slow incompetent staff! As for those 2 spend most of the time stood drinking (John Smiths and Strongbow seem popular with him) at the end of the bar other than working probably one shift a week each, they didn’t even introduce themselves when they took over. Pub is dirty and not cleaned to the standard it should be.

Nothing wrong with the place per se it just wasn't for me. Didn't eat here. Got my gin and tonic in a plastic cup not a gin glass and there wasn't a slice of lemon either. Lots of drunk people. Beer garden. Security. Staff were friendly enough. Just not my kind of place, felt uncomfortable. Wouldn't go back. If you like rough and ready you'll love it here 😉
