Another excellent Wetherspooons pub. Was visiting Halifax as a fan of Exeter City Football Club. A long 275 miles, 6-hour coach journey, so refreshments were in order. It's only a short 5-minute walk from the Shay ground. I ordered the Gourmet Buffalo chicken burger meal. £11.92 including a pint of beer. The food was okay. I ordered on the Wetherspoons app, which means you get excellent, speedy service.
Compared to other Wetherspoons not a huge selection of beers but still a variety. As always keenly priced and kept well. Never a warm freindly atmosphere but people come for the prices and always a good pint. The food is OK and even better value on certain days "New Ckubs".
A really lovely looking Wetherspoons pub. We both enjoyed our drinks and food.
We friends pop in for a drink before catching our train. Wetherspoon app is very handy to order and get table service. Quick service though. Atmosphere was ok. It’s double storey venue with plenty of seatings.
Can't beat a Spoons breakfast. Wherever you go, it's always spot on. Great balcony overlooking the whole pub too.
