First time dining here. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. The menu was large with a really good selection. We opted for the Chicken Kiev & Ploughman's & were really impressed by the quality of the food! Huge portions but obviously freshly cooked & well presented. Will definitely come again.
Called today for the first time. Good choice menu, +especially for vegetarians). Very reasonable price for daughters kids meal- two courses for £7.95 and the ice cream was huge! I had the spinach and chickpea balti pie which was delicious! Opted for it with the veggies from the carvery, and they were nice.....not mushy like some. The mash was good and roast potatoes tasty. My husband had the pie of the day with chips and veg and said how much he enjoyed it. Service was good....the owner was obviously training them but everyone was friendly and smiley. The only negative was that my husband got a desert, and although he really enjoyed it, £7.95 for a desert Is a bit steep. The food was delicious.....we all really enjoyed, and we are glad we gave it a go. We will go again, (but won't get a desert....to be honest, the portions are generous anyway!)
Didn't stay at the inn, just food and drinks and it was fantastic. Great value for money and extremely tasty, best pub grub I've had in a long time. The pub itself is a lovely building with an open fire, spotless and even cleaner toilets. Will definitely come again to try more of their delicious food, staff were lovely too, all round great experience
Had a meal there at the weekend with my husband. Staff were very welcoming and the young man serving us was extremely polite and helpful. Both the starters and main course were served quickly and were absolutely delicious. We would definitely go back again.
Just wanted to thank the staff as we came for a family carvery for them to realise the heaters was off, they gave us the meals free without charge and gave our children cupcakes on our way out. The food has always been lovely when we’ve attended also. Thank you for a lovely service we appreciate it
