THIS IS NO LONGER WETHERSPOONS the food was fine. We had a really long wait and it’s a bit grubby but did the job. The girls cleaning up and stuff were really lovely. Chris and cheerful We put the steak on the salad it didn’t come like that
Stopped off for breakfast on the way to Bolton for a family event. Had a traditional breakfast, good portion size and was very hot, unlike some wetherspoons I have been where it has been luke warm. Staff very friendly. Service was quick, only waiting 5 minutes from ordering and paying.
Called in for a drink before going to a show. We were pleasantly surprised at how well managed this pub is. Quick service at the bar from smiling staff, even though it was very busy. Empty glasses being collected and tables wiped clean. The manager certainly knows what he's doing. It was our first visit, we're looking forward to calling again. Well done.

As for the food, it was okay — not bad, just not the highlight for me. But honestly, it's not always about having a Michelin-star meal. Sometimes it’s about the vibe, and this place absolutely nails it. The energy, the people, and the overall ambiance make it a spot I’d happily return to. This venue is just awesome 🤩👊
Went to this place after going to the cinema To get a quick drink before going somewhere to eat, decided as it was a cold night to stay and eat there, big mistake ordered burgers x4 plus another drink, my burger had a very long hair in the middle of the burger, not just on the plate in the middle of the meat. No problem they took back and refunded, but when we tried to get another drink they refused saying we were drunk, absolutely not true. Bar staff were very miserable said we were laughing too loud manager refused to give his name said he had been told not to, we were a group of 4 aged 50 to 62 think maybe we were too old to be treated with respect. Will never visit again very disappointed. Very unfriendly staff.
