5* Great pub with fabulous vibe & delish Thai food! • Jul 2025 • Great independent pub, has a really lovely vibe and atmosphere, it's not what you'd expect from looking at the exterior. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. I've been a few times and tried a few of the dishes, really fresh well cooked Thai food. You can also order for take-out. Nice clean pub, great subtle lighting and tunes. It's not overly big so you get an intimate feel inside. Great for couples, groups of friends or celebrations. Can't fault The Vine. Well worth a visit for just drinks or for a good value meal out especially when you get there for the Early Bird menu! There is a pay and display car park across the road from the pub which makes it very convenient.
Great place for our Christmas meal. Selected from the Early Bird menu and portion sizes were ample. Food was excellent! 👍🏻 What elevated it though was the great service from the team, both before and during. Great responses to everything, and they really helped make the planning so easy. A great experience and great service. Thoroughly recommend!
The vine is the best place to go if you want a cool but calming vibe. The food is amazing and the range of drinks is wide. Every single member of staff is accommodating, kind and friendly, especially regular staff such as Maisie and Leoni, who are especially attentive. The food and drink prices are reasonable and in my opinion very worth it!

I've visited The Vine many times and have always had a great experience. Their Thai food is amazing and recently I tried their Sunday roast too, which was yummy! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly and attentive. The location is also convenient, close to the car park and the center of Cheltenham. Overall, I highly recommend The Vine for their delicious food and friendly staff. It's a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family and I will definitely be returning.
