A great little pub that’s been open since 1830! Originally a Butchers shop and then they grew apples out back and made Cider, hence the ‘brewery’ part of the name. The ‘Kemble’ part was because the owner back then, was from Kemble near Cirencester. The beer is very good quality at a reasonable price. The food is absolutely fantastic especially the Sunday roast. Best I’ve had in a long long time. All prepared in the pub. None of that mass produced rubbish you might find elsewhere. This leaves it in the dust quite frankly. Book in advance to avoid disappointment! The staff are always welcoming and will engage in conversation, while at the same time, they know how to balance that, using their social skills to not impose on your privacy. All in all they have the balance just right. A great little pub! Highly recommended.

Lovely back street pub. Great choice of ales (the Butty Bach is excellent). Packed at 6pm on a Friday. Could easily spend several hours here.

Popped by based on other reviews and glad I did. Great selection of hand pulled beers at the bar at the front but the best is yet to come. Walk through to the beer garden and the bbq ‘tiki’ shack and smell the fantastic Greek based food on offer. I had the lamb served with potatoes and a super fresh Greek salad buffet. Great taste and so tender - the chef knows just how to get the best from the meat. Others were having steak, burgers and lasagne plus there’s grilled fish (inc swordfish) as well. Truly a great little pub serving something different from the mainstream food offering. Make sure you try it out. If people don’t support these great places they will just disappear.

We never ate so n/a for the food. Great service, with a great collection of well kept ales. Excellent prices and very friendly staff with a high level of knowledge regarding the real ales.
