Great Old School Pub with nice people to drink with and a great Management couple
Great back street pub, not a long stroll from Bromley town centre. Used to drink here in the 1980's after Sunday league football. Same lay out now, fresh and appealing decor. Very polite bar service and a nice pub atmosphere.
Lovely little Pub, very nice couple run the place and the customers are a very nice bunch of people too.. always clean and your always made to feel very welcome 😊
Back in the very early 1970s, I used to live in nearby Palace Road. We called the area The Golden Square, simply because we had The Red Lion, The Anglesea Arms, The Freelands Tavern, The Crown and Anchor and The White Horse...all within a 5 minute walk of each other. It was a truly wonderful time to live in what was basically a village within a town. A Friday night could be spent visiting all 5 pubs and you knew that each would offer something unique to your evening. It's been many years since I left the area, but I returned to The White Horse on Friday evening and it was as if I'd stepped back to those far distant days. Great beers and ales, friendly and welcoming staff... and even the locals no longer bite!!! Highly recommended.
