Mon 25th May ‘2026: First time coming to this Wetherspoons and I love it. 👌 It’s big, spacious, clean and lovely seating. It was a great meet-up for me and my Cuzie. I will definitely be returning back here soon. Would I recommend this Weatherspoons, yes 💯. Very large regular Wetherspoons public house, very popular when I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Staff were very attentive and quick to serve the many customers. Lot's of meals were being sold. The pubs right across the road from the train station and has outside seating aswell. Prices very good and the different drinks options were excellent. I enjoyed this visit.
Disgusting service. Taking orders and then refusing to serve family very very clearly decades over the legal age and then refusing refunds. God awful service and horrible management. Forced to do a chargeback. Used to enjoy coming here. Won't be back to this pub or any weatherspoons if this is how they choose to conduct business. Disgusting.
It's a wetherspoons. Located across the road from Bromley South station. Large branch with small "beer garden" at the side (not garden, just outside tables).Drinks and food the same whichever branch you go to. Came for a drink and a meal. Drinks were good, good choice, reasonable prices. Food was ok, had vegan burger and veggie sausages and mash. Service was not great. Ignored by staff for quite a while, although I will say Kieran was brilliant, he saw what was going on, knew who was waiting, in which order, and helped as quickly as he could, real shout to him, well done Kieran.
Went to enjoy drinks and a catch up with friends in the outdoor area after a meal elsewhere and it was difficult to have a drink, in a glass, together. Our wine was delivered, with no glasses, which were asked for. The server (bald with bushy ginger beard) seemed annoyed by this, but returned with three tumblers of ice. We asked for wine glasses, our original request, which was met with an exasperated sigh accompanied by an eye roll. One person vapes and one smokes, so we asked where to sit when we came in. Unbeknownst to us, we were directed incorrectly. The server was extremely rude and spoke to us like naughty school children regarding this, which we are not with one mid thirties, one mid forties and one mid fifties. The doorman who directed us came over and we quickly discovered he had only heard half of the question and he apologised and helped us move to the right area. For information, the outside area is in three sections - the front section you can neither smoke nor vape, keeping a clean air area for people to enjoy. The second section is for vaping only and the third you can both vape and smoke. Smokes beware, as the tables are all high and stools extremely uncomfortable! All in all, the atmosphere wasn't pleasant. We went for a drink and it was difficult and lengthy to do so. The server was rude and clearly didn't want to be there from the outset. This was a one star review but the door staff were superb, friendly and professional even in some of the tougher situations we witnessed that evening. They really were great at their jobs and could you see that they wanted to be there, engaging with patrons, whether they were allowed in or not. We've agreed we won't return, despite the large area outside and will meet elsewhere in the future, even though opposite the station is convenient for us all with not living in Bromley. Pubs should be easy to get a drink in, with or without a smile, but definitely without a poor attitude.
