Chuffed to bits that we stopped in here for food after a long day. Not only was it perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious; it was cheap too as we came in on a Wednesday and there was a discount rate on all food! Combined with the lovely service and the great range of drinks on offer we'll definitely be back when we're next in the area. A credit to Bromley. 😁
Decided to drop in after struggling to find a good craft pub with clean beer lines. All the servers and workers here are super cool and really chill. After coming in here for 3 days straight I feel like I really got to know the servers and the regulars.

Original review February 2022, updated April 2022 I have visited the Barrel & Horn pub many times over the last 5 years and this is one of the best pubs to come too for their beer selection. The staff know the beer selection well and are always happy to share information about the drinks. Although I have eaten many items from their menus over the years, I prefer their weekday menu over the roast dinner options. Only once has there been a shortage of a menu item in the kitchen, the chef offered an alternative sauce that worked really well in the burger. The pub itself has a nice relaxing atmosphere with some quirky interior designs. Toilets are always clean and well stocked. It is dog friendly and the price range charges typically what the pubs in this area charge. Update: I have visited 4 more times and the new menu choices and execution has definitely bumped up the star rating to 5 stars. Really great to see them bounce back despite the challenges the hospitality industry are facing right now.
I don't normally leave poor reviews unless I really have to, but I don't think a pub should put on there website they are passionate about real ales and then not served any. Two hand pumps both of which had no badges. Didn't have food so no review. The pub as a whole was ok, clean and well kept, but won't be coming back.
