Really cosy friendly locals pub tucked away on a residential street. Popped in for the Sunday roast and a pint. The mixed meat roast was delicious, potatoes were really well cooked and the gravy was great. The bakewell tart and custard for dessert was excellent. Very reasonably priced all in and the service was perfect.
Enjoyed a gorgeous Sunday lunch at the Anglesey Arms today. The service was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Decor is cosy and traditional. My vegetarian roast and sticky toffee pudding was fantastic (great portion size and so tasty) and really good value. I will definitely be back!
I just had the best Sunday roast in ages at the Anglesey Arms! I swear the best chef in Bromley is working there. The meat was tender, the potatoes were roasted almost as well as my wife does them, and the vegetables were full of flavour. And the gravy? The gravy made the meal perfect. Fantastic service and a landlord who clearly wants to make sure every customer has the best possible experience. I'd give them 6 or 7 out of 5 if I could. It was that good.
Had a roast today with the family. First time here and really loved it. A proper pub and a proper roast (with Xmas crackers) with lovely staff.
The Anglesey does a great roast - because it’s a small local pub and they don’t mess with the classics, it feels like having a roast at home! Service is friendly and personal, prices very reasonable for quality and good wine.
