Went as had heard had a revamp. Just a repaint nothing greatly different. Food was average priced £14 a burger and was bid food lowest prices frozen chips and onion rings small portions. Burger looked McDonnals but did taste good. Would probably walk the 100yrs and pay half for the food at Mcds and buy and extra couple of beers with the saved cash. Bar staff were pleasant waiting staff very average and bare minimum efforts made. Did have real ketchup and mayo on table and it's a busy good pub atmosphere. All in all would not re-visit for a food dining experience but was OK for a pop in eat and have a couple of beers & chat with the lads...

What a great pub, classic food with some suprises and atmosphere is on point with chatter and music not too much of either. There were even board games!

Brilliant lunch here today, the staff were all absolutely lovely, really friendly and attentive. Laura was so welcoming. The whole renovation is stunning, finally a local place to come for great food! Definitely recommend and will be back!

The chef was cancelled Luke he was most helpful. Specially for me, I have celiac disease, gluten free, he totally took care of me and was very careful of what he served. Very attentive and friendly helpful staff.

If you are in a hurry don't go. Bar staff pleasant and efficient. Think only one person cooking food wait is horrendous. Had a seniors meal today, wait between starger and main disgusting. Tried Sunday Lunch too, vegetables too hard, small yorshire puddings, roast potatoes ok 2 pieces of lamb.
