Tin Oyle is a contemporary bar in Barnsley that offers a welcoming atmosphere for both home and away football fans. Its open-plan layout, comfortable seating, and tribute to the Barnsley Canister Company's industrial heritage provide a unique setting for pre- and post-match gatherings. The pub is known for its friendly staff and diverse selection of drinks, including real ales like Theakston Old Peculier and Timothy Taylor Golden Best. While it doesn't explicitly advertise live football screenings, its central location near other popular venues makes it a convenient stop for football enthusiasts. Additionally, the pub's dog-friendly policy and relaxed ambiance contribute to its appeal among fans seeking a comfortable place to enjoy a drink before or after the game.
Popped in because the CAMRA rated Good Beer Guide bar (Tipsy Cow) next door was not open until 4pm on a Friday. Spotted two handpumps so took a chance. One real ale on sale, a Pale Ale. Open plan bar on the corner of a huge development. Small outdoor sesting area. Pleasant airey interior.
Lovely place with lovely owner and friendly locals. Pizza and a pint for Β£10 was so good. Highly recommended.
What a fab bar real ales and my favorite old peculiar. Happy staff and friendly. Worth a visit
I mistook this place for the Tipsy Cow due to the scaffolding outside. Nice place with free wifi and clean toilets. 2 handpulls (from Abbeydale, a lovely brewery) at the time of writing.
Turn down the very very bright beaming lights outside they nearly blinded me otherday
