Very friendly landlady and may I say "WHAT A PUB!" Service was great along with the banter and friendliness of everyone there. Really appreciate the time and effort taken to Remember our Fallen Military. The mural on the outside is stunning. Also the Military kit that has been collected and displayed around the pub is outstanding. Lovely to know of a Landlady that has a lot of RESPECT for our Military. Be it now or in the past. THANK YOU for your welcome and the RESPECT shown on Rememberance Sunday. Xxx

Was in Barnsley for a day's bar surfing last Saturday and popped in here as it looked interesting. Not busy early afternoon as there was a music festival in town centre (heaving) but loved the feel of the place. Half is football decor, the other half services and B legion. Respect! Landlady really friendly and chatty as were the other people in the bar, had a good bit of friendly banter. No real ale but the pint of Stella was top quality (obviously keeps the lines clean) and reasonably priced. She pulled off and discarded a first pint so I got a cold and fresh one as I was the first for the Stella that day. Will go there again next time I'm down.

Cracking pub! Great atmosphere, great turns, fantastic lay out inside, especially if you support the local football team or anything to do with our amazing Armed Forces! Superbly hosted by the Lovely Landlady Lyndsey.

Good place for a pre match drink. Plenty of replica shirt decorations, TVs showing live matches and a friendly atmosphere. Not the biggest pub and a little awkward to get around if you're disabled.
