A long-standing Stratford local close to the matchday transit hubs (WhatPub notes Stratford Underground/Overground/DLR at ~650m and Stratford International at ~700m), making it an easy meet-up before heading to the London Stadium. It shows live sport on TV (listed with TNT Sports) and has advertised “all live sport shown,” so early kick-offs and other games are covered. Food is served (including “food served all day” posts and a menu link), which helps for pre-/post-match bites. It’s also described as popular with many West Ham fans, so expect a home-crowd atmosphere on matchdays.

Perfect local pub. Two of us, staying nearby for work, went looking for somewhere that wasn't one of the new-builds around our hotel. The Eagle was a short stroll away and it was obvious from down the street that we'd found what we were after. Worn wooden floor, horseshoe bar with polished glasses over, wooden top wrought iron tables, clearly been a local long before our hotel arrived. Plenty of people, social vibe, friendly and welcoming bar staff. We enjoyed a couple of good pints.
Nice down to earth pub with good prices and a relaxed environment to have a pint. There's also a pool table which is in good condition and a jukebox that's usually available. A good sized beer garden and seating out front too.
Great pub, nice people behind the bar. Good mix of open space and booths for groups. Juke box, darts and pool. cheap drinks too. What more could u ask for?
Love this pub, Dan is fantastic, chatty & interactive. They serve Cafferys on draught here so that an immediate win in my book.
Fantastic place to socialise, has fantastic customers service, very helpful, provides all sports and great venue for parties etc.... excellent venue 👌
