📍 0.7 miles from London Stadium
Right in Stratford town centre opposite Stratford Mall and about 0.25 miles from Stratford station, it’s an easy meet-up before West Ham at the London Stadium. The pub lists big screens and football among its facilities and appears on a local Sky Sports list, so early/late kick-offs are shown. CAMRA notes it gets very busy when West Ham are at home, and it’s included in round-ups of pubs for West Ham fans—so expect a lively home-crowd atmosphere on matchdays.
A pretty pub in Stratford with a range of keg beers and a couple of cask ales normally (the TTs Landlord was turned today). Service is excellent and people jovial. There is a small courtyard at the rear. A gentle enjoyable place for a beer or two. I liked the bit of pub etiquette posted on the bar. Better put this away or I'll die of thirst!
Didn’t have food so can’t score. What an amazing family pub. Mum, Dad & Son. Top class. Guinness amazing. Atmosphere welcoming. Crowd mixed and great value. If you’re in Stratford it’s a MUST. ☘️☘️☘️
Very nice pub with super friendly staff in the center of Stratford. Would gladly return.
Was a good place for quick drink. Outside drinking possible here. TV with sport and lots of Irish sport available. Was decent atmosphere, pretty chilled.
Irish landlady appears to dislike the public and expects customers to abide by strange, unintelligible rules. One of our party went out through the front door to smoke, and was then told he couldn't come back in, at just 7pm on a Saturday night. Landlady and friends at one end of bar got rather agro about it, despite me trying to ask politely why. And it wasn't just us - a pleasant young couple also fell foul of this unwritten, arbitrary rule. They were soon met with a door slamming behind them and their drinks presented outside in a take away cup. Just all very odd and unnecessary.
