The pub advertises big HD screens with Sky Sports/TNT Sports and dedicated Premier League listings, so you can watch early kick-offs or the late game. Their site also states they welcome supporters of all teams for Champions League and other fixtures, and there’s a full food menu so you can eat without leaving the venue. All of this makes it a practical pre- or post-match base in Stratford.

Great pub showing the Ladies Rugby World Cup on the big screens. A good crowd down at Sandy Park in Exeter to see an exciting match between Canada and Scotland. The Abbey Tap in Stratford is a modern place, close to the station. Big with loads of seating and screens. Great lad looking after the bar with quick and efficient friendly service. Great cold pint of lager, I'm a happy man!
Decent pub conveniently places not too far from the station. Large space with plenty of seats and is a good place to watch sports. Came by for lunch. They have a good selection of beer on tap and the food is ok. Good prices. The Little Rebel burger is nice enough, but the onion ring it’s serve with was a bit tough and not anything to be excited about, the garlic dough balls were pretty dry, and the chicken wings was alright. Overall, pretty standard pub.
Very nice people at the bar, but I walked 15 minutes to get here on the strength as there was a good selection of beers. Sadly, there Were no hand pumps, and just the usual selection of pressurized lager’s with Guinness – nothing in between for people who wanted a draft ale or bitter. So all in all, since I’m fed up with Lagers I had a Guinness. So a bit of a Disappointment. I could’ve got the same without the long walk Is there really no nice beer in Stratford?
The Abbey Tap, well what can I say. Let's focus on the word Tap, this generally means there is a large selection of craft beers 🤣. The good news when I walked in, I saw 10 Taps, the bad news, only 3 were on, yes just 3!! A joke. Don't bother. Service was friendly so no issue there, but forget about craft beer.
