📍 2.2 miles from Vitality Stadium
In Bournemouth's town centre (the Triangle), The Four Horsemen is listed by an away-pub guide as welcoming to visiting supporters. It serves food (burgers, nachos, roasts and more), making it a practical meet-up before heading to the Vitality. WhatPub notes both lunchtime and evening meals plus proximity to Bournemouth Square bus routes, which helps with matchday travel. Late opening on Fridays and Saturdays gives fans a post-match option back in town. Craft-beer variety is strong (brands like Delirium, Tiny Rebel, Boscombe Brewing Co, Piddle and Pilot appear on recent tap/check-ins), suiting mixed groups who want something beyond standard lager after the game.
Well what a little gem I found here. On a night out with my daughter to explore Bournemouth we stumbled across the four horseman and seeing as it was the name of some serious hardcore producers from the 90s, and the sign said "90s & 2000s" it was rude not to check it out. And my, I was in for a treat. While upstsirs was the usual super fast and soulless jump up, downstairs in the tiny basement club they were playing some of the finest hardcore and jungle I've heard of in a long time - and I go out in London regularly. This was actually a send off for the death of someone who was an old school teacher - RIP Dennis - and we were very lucky to be part of that. DJ John and the other djs played tunes I hadn't heard of for a good while, and they just kept on rolling. What was supposed to be one stock turned into to staying the 3 hours until it closed at 2. Lovely people, good value drinks, great atmosphere and PHENOMENAL music. I hope they do more events with that music, as they will be very popular in my circle indeed. In fact, we have done djs in the group with a serious selecttion if hardcore and jungle who could assist....
Tuesday pub quiz!!! starts at 8:00pm and we had sooooo much fun! Andy has really invested into his equitment and just has a genuine passion for presenting! Food is also amazing! Best to book in advance!
We tried a german beer (bottled) which was nice but way over priced. 2 beer for just under £15 ? We thought we were in London
Interesting place, friendly staff and nice music, however the volume was too high to have a conversation, the place needs a good clean and although we might not be the right age level the food was definitely not 5 stars, it's ok if your hungry and the concept of 3 small portions for £10 is great, but the food is not the reason to come. There are many drinks options and it's really nice place with a lovely atmosphere.
It was great to come here, I drank good beers and had nice conversations. Georgia very friendly, thank you. ☘️
