It's tucked away just off Micklegate, it's a cosy boozer with lots of different interesting things inside, be it the pictures or the old bar billiards table. I had a few Guinnesses and they went down well 👍🏻
Good pub tucked away of the main tourist route. Bloody good beer selection, good quality. Shame about the music, too loud, unnecessary if you want to talk
Easy to miss but a it's a friendly local with a decent choice of well kept ale.
Didn’t have food. Great range of beers, cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff and customers.
Not the easiest pub to find in the dark but I'm glad I made the trek. Steady business but still quiet during my visit. Solid selection of cask ales and some rustic, cozy rooms to sit down with a pint. Friendly local bartender. Would love to have a pub like this in my neighborhood.
