Many good times had here with friends. Range of beers, outdoor seating, clean toilets, food menu is decent, a little bit pricey but it reflects in the quality. Can order via bar or scan the app. Singha on tap! Yes π π Friendly staff. Of course we will be returning again.
Popped in for a quick bite after doing some shopping in the area. Service was very friendly and attentive for a quick Friday afternoon! I had the sharing nachos as a meal to myself - nice covering of cheese and generous portion of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole! Parents went for baguette / sandwich which both looked really nice! Pinched some of their chips and they were really good, perfect crisp and soft middle! Definitely would come back!
We've had several meals here recently and everything we have eaten has been top quality. From the Sunday roast to the curries and the burgers - the food is amazing! The service and atmosphere are also great in this absolutely cracking little pub!
We were at Hamlet Court, mooching around the shops, and decided to pop in the pub for a sort of lunch. The pub was fairly quiet at that time of day, but the service was great. Our food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it 100%!
Solid, pretty, not terribly exciting Shepherd Neame pub in the centre of Westcliff-on-Sea (Southend) with a typical cask selection of the company's ales. Most of these have been around for decades, and I chose my favourite, Bishop's Finger ESB. A solid option if you're into darker ales. The pub has generous and fairly comfortable seating inside, as well as two smallish outside seating areas on either side of the building. Good community atmosphere, friendly staff. If you're into traditional ales, not craft beers, this is a good option in this small town. It's within walking distance of the train station.
