What a great pub! Amazing both for food and just to pop in for a drink. This steak was served on a sizzling hot skillet. this 8oz sirloin steak was absolutely divine. I asked for it to be cooked blue, and to my surprise it was! I always struggle to find places who will actually cook my steak blue so this was amazing. I love how this was served on a hot skillet. This was a great meal. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the service was very fast. I had a great time and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend!!
Good honest food, friendly and welcoming team and comfortable environment. Good value too. The battered fish was crispy and not too oily though not sure if it's a good idea putting the chips under the fish as the condensation made the chips a bit soggy; the bbq ribs was well cooked and moist. Would come back.
Food lovely but not 1 salt pot had salt in at all were damp so nothing came out
Well what can I say pleasant staff although seems to be a challenge for a table of 3 to have the meals to arrive at the same time! 2 meals arrive together and if table equite was followed would have been cold and was well and truly finished by the time the final meal arrived!!! This a flaw that needs to be rectified sooner rather later if return business can be common place. A number of diners have had the same issue today 😡😡😡
I've been to the Sharman's Cross on multiple occasions with my family - the food is absolutely gorgeous. There's a wide range of food and beverages to accommodate various dietary requirements. The food portions are generous and delightful, too. The staff are always so prompt, efficient, and friendly. When it comes to ordering, as the orders can be quite large, when all my family orders food together, the staff always ensure that we have everything and are always so professional when serving. Different sports matches are played in the Sharman's Cross, too, creating a lively pub atmosphere where lots of people get together to enjoy the games. It's also child friendly, as many people bring their children (of all ages) to come and enjoy the food and atmosphere.
