Great service and hospitality from Tamzin and the staff here at O'Neill's tonight popped in as a small group before heading into Touchwood. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable with a really pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to the staff for great service... (D) π
Three of us went for a drink on a Saturday night having never been out in Solihull before and it was a great place. The band were great, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, there was good outdoor space, plenty of bar space to be served at, and our favourite bit was the interactive darts boards. The boards had cameras to keep track of your playing and each board had a tv you could play games on through your darts. We had a really great time and if weβre ever in the area again weβll absolutely be stopping by again.
I visited O'Neils in Solihull on Friday evening with my family. Whist the venue was busy we easily found a table. The atmosphere was lively and we had a wonderful time. We all ordered food and were served by a lovely young lady called Ava Catterson. She greeted us with a wonderful welcoming smile and took our food order. I ordered the ham egg and chips, and I told Ava that I wanted my eggs with soft yolks. When she served my food she asked if the eggs were to my liking and waited until I cut into the yolks to ensure that they were cooked to my satisfaction, (which they were). She also cleared our plated at the end of us eating and asked if the meals were enjoed and to our expectation. She really was a joy to be served by, chatty, smiling and making us all feel lkie we were welcome and that our satisfaction was important. The venue was busy but Ava made us feel as though we were enjoying a very personal and caring service
Visited today with my disabled partner and although the pub was very quiet which is why I put only 2 stars but it was perfect for us, as it made it a lot easier to get in and out of. The two of us had the Guinness pie which we both decided to have with peas, mash and gravy. Now at first glance the size of the meal might not blow you away and with a couple of drinks might come across as a little expensive. But once you tuck into the food we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar service was warm and welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful when we were leaving with helping with the door. This is some place we would easily visit again for food next time in Solihull.
Always a good option for a night out or a quick stop to carry on elsewhere, but O'Neills is well recommended in Solihull town centre. It offers a good beer selection and has friendly and helpful staff. Sports are always shown live here, ranging from football to darts. I myself have watched the football live here many times, and the darts. O'Neills is always my first choice to watch the football or the darts. The bouncers are also quite friendly, as bouncers go, I've never had any issues with them. On top of all that, O'Neill's also offers darts you can play with friends. They have six electronic dart boards offering several games and this can be a very good activity to do with a few drinks.
