O'Malley's Irish Bar in Hartlepool is a popular destination for football supporters, particularly away fans. The pub is known for accommodating visiting supporters, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of drinks. It features 15 TVs displaying live sports, including football matches, making it an ideal spot for fans to enjoy the game. The venue also hosts regular events like quiz nights and live music, adding to its appeal on matchdays. Additionally, the pub provides a ground-level entrance, ensuring accessibility for all patrons.
A decent little Irish themed bar close to central town and other pubs, not far from the train station and other local amenities. Drinks are priced fairly and has a nice feel and atmosphere. Does have some outside seating at better times of the year, nearby parking is paid on street parking.
Wasn't many people in when we visited, possibly due to the fact that it's quite pricey compared to other pubs. Decent pub with a good vibe, plenty of seating, but as mentioned, there wasn't many people in the place. Was the first time I'd been in the place since it's been O'Malley's - due to the price it's likely that it won't be on my list of pubs to visit on a night out
What a pub! We travelled up from Aldershot for the football and despite losing thanks to all the team at OMalleys we were made to feel very welcome and had a great laugh with Sophie and her team! Thanks for the Goodies, Parmo tips and the Forged Stout glass! See you next year for the fixture again we will be back ! Alex, Footy and Rory.
Gorgeous Irish pub with a fabulous atmosphere inside. We were served by a lovely bubbly non Irish lass, who informed us that the copious amount of vodka on rang behind the bar was the landlord's favourite tipple. I imagine it must be a right riot there at times, in true Irish fashion. Great place to have a wee dram. Wasn't keen on the huge TV screens, though. But in their defence, they were projector screens, and I doubt they are out on busy nights. I hope not, as I dislike screen pubs.
Food was awful. Looked like I'd scatted it out. Atmosphere was ok but the food was wallace.
