Me and my girlfriend visited for a breakfast on a Sunday Monday without any expectations, slightly surprised to find the place empty. I got a coffee and she got a tea, both with a complimentary caramelised biscuit. I then ordered a breakfast sandwich with extra hash browns and she ordered a veggie breakfast. My sandwich was solid - proper sage and onion sausages, black pudding, slightly crispy bacon, and a perfectly fried egg on top. My girlfriend complains that veggie breakfasts are routinely ruined by bad tomatoes and poorly selected veggie/vegan sausages, but she was happy with both here, saying that it’s one of the best breakfasts she’s had in ages. The staff were lovely and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday morning. Not based in pools anymore, but will definitely be returning if possible!
We booked here for our engagement party - I couldn’t recommend Bar 31 enough. The staff were accommodating, the venue was great and the catering was one of the best buffets we’ve had and received lots of praise from our guests.

I had incorrectly reviewed this place getting it mixed up with another business which was brought to my attention by the reply. I went here for a few drinks following a works Xmas night out, didn't stay too long, if I remember rightly it was pretty busy, not really much more I can say about it to be honest, but it certainly wasn't a bad place to drop in to on our travels . I can't really with any honesty give this place 5 stars as I wasn't there long enough to fully experience the place, and likewise, it would be unfair to give it a low rating.
