Popped in for £10 lunch deal. Great value well presented by the chef (ribs and fish and chips). Wonderful service from the young barman. From what we experienced today I recommend for an inexpensive weekday lunch on the Bath Rd.
Went to the brown jug for sunday lunch and the football, the best roast i have ever had in my life!! I became full and did not want to stop eating i dont know how they do it but if you are looking for a roast dinner this is the place. Also i recommend ordering the pork crackling and the pigs in blankets as my god it was incredible
Received a really warm welcome, food was really good and the service excellent. One of our group was running late and their pre-booked meal arrived when they did without any fuss. Has a friendly local atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
These lovely guys n gals serve the best roast I have had in years with excellent and professional service. I am thoroughly impressed and I will be back. 5-stars all round I really can not fault this lovely pub.
