Second time here for us , Sunday roast is spot on. Aside from that, the hospitality and service are second to none. Very friendly and welcoming team. Thank you for a lovely experience x
Fantastic pub with a great menu.the food was fast, delicious and very well priced for the quality. Good selection of beers on tap.Definitely worth a trip out.you may have to book.owner and staff were very welcoming.dog friendly.
OMG, I had the minted lamb special and it was absolutely amazing. The owners and staff are so polite, friendly and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly and its just a really nice to go and eat.
Visited here over xmas period. Chose here because a couple of months ago we had a sunday roast which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately our recent experience was very different. Seated for almost half an hour before order was taken, sunday menu was limited and was told no pies were available which limited it further. Sunday roast was warm at best and the gravy was watery and not very tasty, will not be in a hurry to return any time soon.
such a different & disappointing experience to my prior visits!! food was really good however a few issues. they removed my favourite dish, and you can only order off the sunday menu which is really limited. i got the roast which was delicious but very little gravy, and when i asked for more, it was a Β£1.50 surcharge with no disclosure! not expensive, but as i had already paid Β£2.50 for extra meat, i donβt think extra gravy is a stretch, and should definitely be told when given. also, was supposed to come w pigs and blankets- he specifically asked, and they were not there. was not checked up on the whole meal, though service was prompt when asked. overall, probably wonβt be rushing back. shame since i used to love this pub! also, maybe a second party issue, but impossible to book on a website. every other pub comes up except this one. had to phone call.
