To me it's like a working man's pub. Nice decor. I just went the once and was pleasantly surprised to see Cafreys Ale. The other beers were rubbish for me as im into Real Ale. They have Newcastle Brown Ale too so bonus. They do do food and looking at the menu seems reasonably priced. Can't comment on the food as I didn't have any. Parking i think would be an issue.

Lovely pub, the landlord/lady were very welcoming, came here when staying in the ibis hotel because the reviews were good and well deserved. The food was amazing large portion and very reasonable prices, good selection of beer. The place is very lively. Very enjoyable.

Absolutely love this local pub, real friendly atmosphere. The staff are exceptional. Varied menu of proper pub grub at really reasonable prices. I would say a very well kept cellar.

It was fairly quiet but it was a Monday night. I had the sausage and chips and it was lovely. Really good value for money and Jan gave me a warm welcome. I would definitely go back.
