Place with specific smell. On time my visit was many childrens with noise. But ok, women from service really friendly.
A must visit after every home game for the County, always super friendly staff who don't shy away from a bit of banter. Great selection of beers and ciders on tap at very reasonable pub prices. Live sport always on the TVs indoors.
Great place to stop off have a pint and head over to watch the mighty the mighty Newport county .
Popped in for the quiz on a Thursday night after we'd tried every other Thursday night quiz in the Port previously. Really pleasant suprise. The quiz was a real good laugh. The compare was hilarious so made it a bit different from other quiz nights about. We loved it. Top that off with some great pub meals and a great pint and it was the perfect Thursday night. We shall return. 👍
Family run pub, with classic food and they run various events karaoke etc to liven up the place. Traditional style and pool table, definitely worth going if you fancy a pint or meal, or catch up with an old pal
