Fantastic food and beer 🍺. Visited the pub today after walking our dogs in st julians park . I had the ploughman's platter and my wife had the beef madras . There was plenty of food and well priced . Good selection of real ale . Will definitely going back here AWESOME !!!
A beautiful pub. Very traditional. Hugely popular due to the stunning views over the river usk and also the food offering is basic but wholesome. Regular live music available. This pub is a real community hub and it’s a great pub to visit with a welcome for everyone.
Beautiful summer evening with a balcony garden overlooking the River Usk. The unset views were spectacular. There was a bunch of jazz enthusiasts having a jam session which contributed to the atmosphere. Excellent cheerful and prompt service.
Really nice spot with great views. I liked my food, but my parents weren’t too happy with their burgers. Drinks were good though, and the place itself is lovely.
Proper pub. Music, pool table, sky sports, Well looked after beer with 4 cask ales on tap and plenty of lager choices.. Good pub grub, homemade curries, lasagne, etc. Massive jacket spuds lol. Extra nice on a summers day on the terrace overlooking the river.
