Classic pub with a great, friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Excellent range of beers that aren’t the obvious choices. Good range of both craft and real ales. Very good value for money.
Great pub. Great choice of beers that are well looked after. A good choice of lagers, ciders and ales. At least 4 cask ales on show. Ordered 4 meals and all 4 were really good. Proper chips as well 😁 Steak Thursday so I had a rump that was a lovely cut and cooked bang on and had my pint for free. Cost £12 Also has 2 meals for £15 .. Fish, chips & beans and chicken and mushroom pie, chips, peas & gravy. Sausage and mash kids meal £5.50. Great value and food was all cooked perfectly. Shout out to the coffee as well, the Latte was lovely ☕👌
Really liked this pub, didn't eat here on this occasion as I was just meeting friends before the football. Friendly staff a good beer selection and from what I saw good food too. Very likely to pop back again!
Bookings only these days was told you can still walk in not true, but was accommodated nice food nice environment
Ok, so the food is ok if you are willing to wait. Due to the other reviews I timed the food and it took 40minutes for 2 burgers. The standard of food is on par with a typical British pub. They do a few vegan options. The staff were friendly and were welcoming. They have good options especially if you like ale. I give them a solid 3, so probably 3.5 but I don't want to round up to a 4. I would recommend them but with a few caveats for the waiting and quality of food.
