The pub opens from 11am with food served 12:00–21:00 (Mon–Sat) and 12:00–19:00 (Sun), making it easy to grab lunch and a drink before kick-off. It’s a food-led pub but keeps cask ales such as Adnams Ghost Ship alongside rotating guests, offering a calmer pint away from the stadium retail-park chains. Popped in for a nice fish and chips. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. The service was excellent throughout the stay. The establishment itself feels cosy although a little cramped. Might be tricky to get seated during busy hours. We also participated in the pub quiz which was great fun. It seems to happen every Monday evening around 20:00.
Our first time back here in quite a while as we're not locals. What a cracking restaurant. We found space in the bar because we had a little dog with us. The food did not disappoint (which is why we came back) all of it was absolutely delicious and we made little piggies of ourselves. We would highly recommend The Plough 10 out of 10. Thank you 🤗🍽👍🤟
We were referred here by another restaurant we did not have a booking for. Good thing as well. A few car parking spaces. Beautiful pub. We were sat in a cozy booth seating area. Like the decor. Service was okay, to be fair they were very busy as bank holiday. It was one of the biggest portions of gammon we have ever had. It was very tasty but quite saltier than the usual gammon as well so we just took the rest home for lunch at home the next day. We enjoyed our meal!
We recently held a celebration of life gathering for our mum at The Plough following her funeral service, and we couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and welcoming experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were compassionate, attentive, and incredibly respectful of the occasion. They handled everything with quiet professionalism and kindness, which made a difficult day much easier for our family and friends. The food was fantastic, beautifully prepared and enjoyed by all our guests and the space itself was comfortable and well organised, allowing everyone to relax, share memories, and spend meaningful time together. Thank you to the entire team for helping us create such a warm and fitting tribute. We are truly grateful for the care and effort you put into every detail. Steve and family x
Amazing food. Amazing venue. Another amazing pub from Beyond pubs ! Abit smaller and more personal than the Cross Keys however just as great !
