📍 1.1 miles from Stadium mk
Listed by Football Ground Guide as a recommended Bletchley option for visiting supporters to Stadium MK, around a 24-minute walk from the ground. The pub opens early and serves food throughout the day (meal times shown as 8am–11pm), which suits pre- and post-match plans. It’s a Wetherspoon site with TV screens, and CAMRA notes regular and guest ales, so groups can expect reliable choice and capacity. WhatPub also flags it as close to Bletchley railway station, making it handy for away fans arriving by train.
Very disappointing, ive been coming here ever since wetherspoons took over, no issues until last week. Me & my husband came in with our assistance dog, we had been welcomed the week before with no issues as we have her official ID card. However we came in last week, 2 managers said its fine for us to be in, then a 3rd came out. A woman with dark hair. Who 'only let us stay because we had already paid for our meals', she made it clear if we hadn't, we could of been told to leave. She also told us she would not allow us back again in the future. At no point were we rude. We were blindsided by her rude behaviour in truth. We showed her our dogs ADUK OFFICIAL badge and asked her to scan the QR code on the back for further proof. She refused. Out right refused. The QR code takes you directly to the website. She refused on the basis of not having a yellow book-by law-you do NOT have to show the yellow book if you have the ID card. Who on earth carries the book with them when they have the ID card? Illogical. Thoroughly disgusted with this woman's attitude. Especially as other managers had no problem. We also showed her the law of not needing the yellow book-she pretty much told us to eat and get out. Absolutely shameful to the wetherspoons chain, I honestly never thought this pub would be so discriminatory, ive been a loyal customer for years and enjoyed every previous visit. An official complaint has been made & this has also been forwarded on to the local paper. Thoroughly disgusted.
Another JD Wetherspoon gem. Surprisingly small car park, but we found a space. Service was 100% as usual. Food was good, although I would say the burger meat looked slightly less than desirable than usual. I do hope they haven't changed suppliers to keep prices down. Overall, a lovely meal for the price.
Have to say nice pub, nice staff( although probably not enough for new years eve) Food was ok but we all got cold chips, burgers looked nothing like on picture - lettuce and tomatoes was scares or tiny pieces. It was quite busy and personally I dont envy staff who probably been there all day dealing with it to stay and clean on new years eve while being probably understaffed (only one or two people been cleaning tables ) But shout out to girl with Red hair behind the bar her service was amazing 👏 you are star, and Guy who got us food to table !
Really impressed with their kids food. I brought my 2 kids here (7 & 4) for dinner and for just over £5 each they got a meal, a piece of fruit (the biggest banana I've ever seen!) and a small drink. And to top it off the meals are served with kid sized cutlery which you don't normally get when you go out to eat. Really impressed! Will definitely come again.
This was a brilliant pub for drinking, with a quirky style suiting its location in an area of Milton Keynes! This is shown through signs like the telephone one and the household phone itself beneath, counter is nicely laid out. I had a pint of Kopparberg and the glass roofing in part of this pub is pleasant, enjoyed the outdoor seating for most of my visit!
