Extra points for the name. Sit down style pub on the outside of Chesterfield, near the football ground. Seemed very friendly. Most people there eating, so not a party place. Probably nicer in summer with an outdoor section. Will be busy if there is football on that day. Seemed alright
An incredible experience. Very hot and well cooked food. All staff were helpful and friendly. We visited today (a Sunday), at 3pm ish and orded x2 kids meals and x2 roasts. Sadly the roasts were all sold out. They were happy to put the kids food through on a tab as we had to rethink our order and the kids were hungry. We then ordered a meaty sharer. Their was a mix up from the till operator but it was all resolved and when we got our order it was hot and very delicious. The staff were amazing and ensured everything was ok after the meal mix up. The children then ordered brownies and strawberries. We specifically asked that they had strawberries and was told yes. 10 minutes later we were told their was only 1 strawberry which wasn't enough for one order. We said please use it for our autistic son but our other son was happy for plain brownie. The order took a while to come out but it was as ordered and the staff were fantastic, even offering drinks for the lack of fruit and the long pud wait time which we declined as we felt the high quality service made up for any mistakes that happened. We were so blown away by the quality of food and service we will be telling everyone to visit.
Had a fabulous night on a Tuesday night with my little family. Staff were so friendly and Was served by Alex most of the night such a welcoming chatty bloke made us feel so welcome. Thank u so much xx
We booked a table for 17 for a family celebration, the tables were all reserved for us,and we selected lots of different meals from the varied menu.The food arrived all together and complete.Freshly cooked hot food for so many of us.The staff are so friendly and we had a really good time.The cooks and servers are amazing and all the food at a very reasonable price. You are amazing ,thankyou,see you again soon .
What can I say. Everyone there was just outstanding. They enabled us to have a wonderful 60th for my mother in law. The festive menu was lovely. The staff were unreal, special shout out to trinity, who was beyond lovely. My in laws have recently moved into the area and this will now be our local. Thank you guys. From us all 💓
