Popped in before the match as I hadn't been in before and it seemed like the best pub allocated to away fans. Decent prices, friendly staff and being very close to the ground made it one to visit again.
Saw an advert on Facebook about Sunday Dinner. Thought we would give it a try. Decided to have the 3 courses. I had prawn cocktail . It was lovely lots of prawns. My husband had mushrooms that was a big portion too. My main was beef . All homemade Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. We had a side of cauliflower cheese it was great. My husband had pork and that was lovely too. Eaton mess for desert . We will certainly be returning and telling everyone how good it is .
Hands down the best pub round Chesterfield up and coming with fantastic regulars with the warm, classic homily and welcoming feeling competitive pricing on all services and without the watering down unlike many others. Will reman my regular watering hole till my last breath
Brilliant little pub, good beers at very reasonable prices. Not had any food yet so I can't comment.
Great pub..was with my local football fans & welcomed..even by home fans..Will definitely go back again soon!
