About this Pub

The Warners Arms

Why it's great for Matchdays

Handy for an away day in Accrington: it's a central town-centre pub on Warner Street, a short walk from Accrington railway station (around 450m), so it's easy to meet before heading to the Wham Stadium. Inside, live football is shown via Sky Sports and TNT Sports, making it a reliable spot for early kick-offs or post-match games. Weekend hours run later (to 1am Fri/Sat), which helps after evening fixtures. Local ground guides also note that pubs in Accrington town centre rarely enforce segregation, so venues like this are typically mixed and fine for both home and away fans.

Decent pub itself (it's a nice enough space) but really rough. Someone shoved me intentionally in the bathroom, then the same person shoved someone else at the bar. Bar staff didn't make them leave despite their aggressive behaviour. The bar man did step in, but the person was not asked to leave for some reason.

DJs are fantastic really good pub feel, large pub, usually have some funky drinks offer on but as a whole it's a good community pub worth visiting.

I am absolutely fuming , I get married in two weeks , I have come out this evening with my sister in law , brother in law friends and husband to be , we have literally been in 3 pubs and a long haired brunette 20 yrs if that states my brother in law with 2 knee replacements is too drunk to be served , probably because he walks awkwardly, not even had 4 pints all night , but then proceeds to serve who I can only describe as a regular shews off his drunken friends , probably regulars , and serves them all. What a joke, full of her own self importance and so rude and backed up by a male member of staff with a short beard. I don't go out often but I will NOT step foot in this place again. Horrible staff , rude and clueless

A nice quiet Sunday night out, punched one man (lightly) but kissed 4 others. (Also quite lightly) a nice balance I'd say.
