📍 0.2 miles from Wham Stadium
Nags Head sits right in Accrington town centre close to the railway station, making it a handy meet-up before or after games. It's specifically mentioned by the local matchday police account alongside other town pubs for visiting supporters, and there are fan check-ins from away followers using it on matchdays. Being a central, station-adjacent pub that attracts both home and travelling fans makes it a practical neutral spot for groups heading to or from the Wham Stadium.
stumbled across this gem. how a boozer used to and should be not those poxy real ale n wine bars. one of the last of a dieing few. decent prices aswell
Appears you have to go to the disabled toilets in groups of 3 passing the signs for no drugs in this place. A lovely establishment
Dead atmosphere, had a hair and a flake on the top of my can.
a foul stench upon entering. Seems to attract those with problems and baggage; rather than sit and drink themselves into their awaiting grave, they’d be best seeking help for their issues and otherwise deal with their demons instead of trying to suppress with alcohol. Toilets are upstairs, I suspect half the patrons can’t make it up the stairs and take the easy option of urinating themselves, it would certainly explain the smell. Young girl on the bar gave a nice smile
Haven't been to a pub for years and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with a couple of friends. Would absolutely recommend The Nags Head, very friendly and welcoming.
