Good food great prices Nice real ales :) The curry was tasty chickpea sweet potato:) Pie mash peas was okay :) Sometimes packed . Worth a trip
The food was average Spoons fare. That is not saying it was bad, it is saying that you know what you are going to get. For the price paid and what was delivered, I would say it was a bargain. I had the steak pudding and my son had the burger. Nothing was left on the plates. The value was great, the drinks were great and the service from the chap who was run off his feet on the upstairs outdoor terrace was brilliant. We had a great time at a great price.
I'm rating this 5 stars! I loved everything! The menu was very good. I ordered pancakes with milk, strawberries and blueberrys from the children's menu, and I got the milk first. And the pancakes the employee gave me was similar to the original happy face! It was tasty. The employees got the food right. Love it with my family.
I had an amazing battered haddock with chips, and a lovely drink. Me and my girlfriend ordered quite a lot, but the food came quickly, and we were quite pleased. The only negative was that there were some stains on the tables and menus, and the table was sticky (which for some reason is a trend in every Wetherspoon I go to). Otherwise, it was nice and I recommend it of you don't mind busy rush hours.
Called in here April. Usually come for lunch when we are saying in our motorhome at Ferry Meadows. Great fans of Wetherspoons. Never had a dirty glass, wine, beer, food a great price. Normally go to the Square Sail in Lincoln as live in the area. Off to Ferry Meadows next week so will be calling in here for our normal - 2 scampi combos, large bowl of chips, large Chardonnay and a pint of Doombar - all for the great price of about £20🤗.
