I had a fantastic experience thanks to Christine. From the moment I arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Christine was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions I had. What really stood out was her positive attitude and how much she clearly cares about providing great service. On a notably hot and busy day at The Moorhen, the pub was bustling. Despite the volume, staff, led by the manager, were consistently attentive and professional. Notable investments in improvements were evident, including visible door security. Dogs were welcomed, and the atmosphere was convivial. The manager’s extra efforts, including a personal gesture of a keepsake glass, exemplified a commitment to service. In sum, it was a secure, family-friendly environment with good food, an asset to the community worth supporting.To that end, I encourage everyone locally to support The Moorhen, these efforts and people deserve backing. In difficult times for pubs, it’s vital to sustain this valued community asset, safeguarding livelihoods and ensuring it remains a cornerstone for all...and you can enjoy a pint whilst doing so!
Very friendly Bar/Restaurant, online booking was straightforward. Staff member gave us a warm welcome, walked us to our table and I was very impressed with how how tidy and open the area was. We had the option to either order online by barcode or the traditional way, for me and my wife was great because we are more familiar with the first option but my father in law likes to walk to the bar and order face to face. The food selection was excellent, the price was a positive surprise, food quality was great and waiting time wasn't that long. Overall for my first time here I'm extremely impressed, we will definitely come back again, the bar was getting busier overnight but people were respectful and not extremely loud. On the way out we have noticed a security guy which adds up more of a positive impact on my score/experience.

The buffet was fantastic, the service was amazing, and it was lovely to see him and the staff getting behind Arsenal for the day too. Everyone made the occasion feel extra special, and it was truly appreciated
