📍 3.0 miles from Weston Homes Stadium
The Bumble Inn is a well-regarded micropub in Peterborough, situated approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the Weston Homes Stadium, making it a convenient choice for pre-match drinks. It offers a rotating selection of five real ales, craft kegs, and a variety of bottled and canned beers. While it doesn't prominently feature live football broadcasts, its welcoming atmosphere and proximity to the stadium make it a popular spot for both home and away supporters. The pub has been recognized with multiple CAMRA awards, including Branch Pub of the Year in 2018 and 2024, highlighting its quality and community appeal. Additionally, Nepalese food is available to order from the adjacent restaurant, providing a unique culinary option for patrons.
The Bumble Inn is an outstanding real ale micropub in Peterborough, a 5 minute walk from the station. Craft beer pubs in town are few and far between, this is the best one. It's a very small pub (20-25 customers max at the same time I reckon), the décor is very basic and functional, as with so many small craft establishments. Tiny outside seating to the front, on the pavement. The staff are very friendly indeed (one gave me a free ticket to the trade session of the beer festival), and they know their beers. The list of canned and bottled beers was outdated, but that proved no real problem at all. Visited almost daily during my 9-day visit to Peterborough. Good atmosphere, many local punters, good rotation of cask ales. Happy to have found my go-to place for cask beer on the very first day. I bumbled in, I bumbled out. Frequently.
Paid a visit here Easter Sunday. Had a couple of pints of the Jaipur. Also had a couple of samosas. Positive experience all round. Will be back for another visit.
This is a smashing pub. Well worth the trip from London to visit. Brilliantly chosen beers, great landlord and lovely atmosphere. Perfect.
I Popped into the Bumble inn just before closing time yesterday, was made very welcome by the landlord. They had two real ciders on which I’d not tried before. Nice little micro pub with intimate atmosphere. Was lovely and cool despite it being 32c outside, highly recommended for those wanting a quiet pint. I took a few 360 photos which are now on google street view. I will be back again sometime. Cheers Andy
Good beer on tap. Lager drinkers you may have to suffer Good chat with locals and staff. They have different beers from around the area.
