Called in on the off chance tonight. Table for three all good. Great service & easy to order from the bar. Food came out reasonably quick & was piping hot. All was excellent. Highly recommend. Great food & great Ale 👍🏻
Very disappointed with our visit. The food was genuinely unpleasant, especially the mixed grill, which looked like it had never seen a grill at all. The chicken breast had a strange sticky coating and clearly wasn’t grilled. We also ordered chicken wings as a side — they were sloppy, tasteless, and very unappetising. The only positive was my son’s burger, which he said was good, although I didn’t try it myself so can’t fully comment. For £65, this was extremely poor value. Honestly, I’d rather eat at McDonald’s than come back here. On top of that, you have to collect your own cutlery instead of it being brought with the meal, which just adds to the frustration. Overall, a waste of time and money. I just hope none of us end up with food poisoning. The beer was okay, but that’s about it.
We had the Christmas menu 11th December; table 15. The food was good and came to our table hot. The night was busy and the staff remained friendly and helpful. Thank you Jas our main waitress, and Ian and Francis our chefs. We have been before and will visit again. Merry Christmas everyone, and thank you from the four of us X.
Birthday meal. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. We had mini mixed grill. Was stuffed. Was made to feel the mess we had made (10 of us) was not a problem. We stayed after our guests departed and went into another part of the bar. Prices reasonable for the bottle of wine and menu.
Was served by a man wearing a red shirt he was very friendly and helpful, I asked about gluten free drinks and nothing was too much trouble.
