Excellent food Brilliant service. Friendly attentive staff. We had the sharing roast and it was huge! Excellent quality meat. We will visit again!
I made a reservation here for a birthday lunch with friends. The food and drink were really good quality and tasty. The beef & Ale Pie was really filling. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Great selection of drinks. Would definitely return.
Went there for some lunch today. Nice atmosphere and setting but the chicken burger wasn't worth the £17 paid. Very little chicken, no garnish, not even a token gesture of coleslaw. There was quite a long wait for the food and wasn't rworth the wait. The staff didn't check back to see how the food was so felt a bit abandoned. Very disappointing really and felt a bit insulted being charged nearly £50 for a sub par chicken burger, beefburger with 2 pints. Probably won't go back there for food again as feel let down.
Really lovely little pub in the heart of Lincoln’s cathedral quarter. Bags of character. Really friendly staff. Great service. Food was very nice and a good selection of wines available too. Really nice atmosphere and great to go for a walk around the bail area afterwards. Definitely recommend. They have great deals on in the week too. Tuesday was 2 for one on the Burgers 😋 so great value.
Traditional British pub in a beautiful historic building with lovely features inside and out. We popped in for a few on Friday night and we were treated to some fantastic live acoustic entertainment from Martin Lynch. Staff and clientele were super friendly. Great atmosphere, would highly recommend a visit.
