Great beer options, great local vibe and very good staff. They have live music some nights, and only crisps/nuts to eat. Highly recommended.
It's a friendly local pub with a superb choice of beers from independent breweries. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and the beer garden is superb with lots of booths with heating to sit outside in the summertime. They also had an outside barbecue going when I was there serving the usual hotdogs and burgers. I was very impressed and it's well worth a visit
Brilliant traditional old pub, excellent choice of real ales and lovely staff…
Bit of a walk south from city centre but worth the effort and of course you get that "earned it" feeling when you order your beer. Friendly staff, well served pint and comforting feel to the place. You could spend a happy few hours in here 🙂
We love The Golden Eagle! A family run, family friendly pub. Dogs with considerate owners are welcome! The pub is clean, Tyler, Chris & the staff are friendly, warm & welcoming people. A wide selection of Beers, Spirits and Wines are on offer and the pricing is fine. A bear Garden with Booths (may need to book on hot days) and outdoor smoking area with patio heaters give you an outdoor space to access no matter the weather.
