We recently booked our work Christmas party here and couldn't have been more impressed! The service was great, with friendly staff making sure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond to accommodate dietary needs without any hassle. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Went here for a family pre Christmas lunch. Pre ordered food arrived simultaneously, hot and very tasty. Perhaps gravy in jugs would have been more appropriate rather than already on the plate, just in case? Young, polite, friendly and attentive staff. Thoroughly recommend this venue. Magnificent Cathedral and Castle up a steep calorie burning hill on a nice day added to the occasion.
The food was excellent, first class, best pub lunch I think I've ever had, the meat was perfectly cooked and plenty of veg and gravy, really good service and the decor was lovely, highly recommend. Book first!
Such a great experience. Sunday roast menu is excellent! We came here for my mum’s birthday and they even gave her a birthday card - such a nice touch that most wouldn’t do. We had our dog with us and they were great with her, provided water and some love! Would highly recommend a visit
Great place! We came for a festive pre-Christmas dinner. We savoured hummus, flatbread and panisse as starters, followed by steak and a pumpkin dish for the main course. Everything was perfect. Paired with glasses of exquisite Georgian wine — it felt so good!
