Value for money, warm and welcoming. Service was top notch and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Food was great, service was great and the atmosphere too.
I really enjoyed this meal. The kebab was very tasty (I had the beef/lamb) and the sauce added was perfect (piri piri). The chips were cooked to perfection which isn't always the case in many eating places. My server was Jay who was very accommodating for a solo guest in a busy place. He popped me on a big table that was reserved for later on and speedily delivered my food and checked all was ok. Great service from him. Very enjoyable and the ambience was just right with chilled 70s music to accompany my brief stay.
A simple pub located on one of the main streets in Lincoln, we come here when the steampunk festival was on and they managed to fit us in without a booking, the whole bar was packed and the restaurant very busy, we ordered online and the drinks were brought over very quickly, a little bit of a wait for the food, but that is to be expected due to the amount of people having to be served. Our table was clean and tidy and generally fit for purpose, similarly to the rest of the restaurant, the food was good, nothing to blow your mind but that’s good, simple food with a decent price tag. Would definitely visit here again for a meeting with friends or family!
The Christmas menu was delicious. Myself and 4 friends had the best time. We enjoyed the food very much. Table was decorated and we even had crackers. Two course meal was a good price too.
A very nice pub. Popular. Stylish! It's fun and easy to get together. Both the outdoor and indoor seating are recommended!
