About this Pub

The Little Plough
City-centre and about five minutes’ walk from Doncaster railway station, The Little Plough is handy for fans arriving by train. It shows TV football and welcomes both home and sensible away fans, so it works as a neutral pre-/post-match pint. Regularly kept cask ales such as Acorn Barnsley Bitter and Ossett White Rat make it a classic stop before heading on to the game.

Really nice traditional pub, good beer and very friendly helpful staff. Will definitely make it my first port of call when I'm in Doncaster next. Very short from the train station is also a bonus.

Easy to see why this is a Good Beer Guide CAMRA 2023 pub. Proper town centre two room pub with an older cliental opposite the station. Madge went for Acorn Barnsley bitter as the very short lived British August Summer ended in a downburst. Really love the traditional back lounge. Madge took a pint of Acorn Barnsley bittet. Lovely. Nice place to start or finish a Doncaster pub crawl.
