Had Lauren arrange me a combo party for my husbands 40th and my sons 6th birthday. Price was amazing value for money! Definitely worth every penny! Felt bad for leaving so much food! She went above and beyond! Her decorations were amazing and the kids were so entertained with the party table! Fab and 10/10 ! Llved every minute! Lovely pub, chilled and friendly atmosphere. Staff really friendly and attentive. Food was lovely, good sized portions and really tasty and fresh! I had the cowboy burger and enjoyed every bite! Daughter enjoyed her burger which was on par quality 👌which sometimes in pubs the kids meals suck but this was great. And toffee sundae for afters for less than £1.50 :) about £10-11 per meal for adults, deffo worth it
Laura is one of the Bar staff at The Sun Pub & always shows a friendly attitude & efficiently in her customer Skills. She certainly is gifted always giving excellent service to everyone. I don’t normally eat at the Sun, but in the few times I have I can’t complain at all. Craig & Lauren I have to say are the warmest of people who are a credit to The Sun too. Really appreciate you all.
Monday early evening so fairly quiet as expected but the atmosphere was friendly. Nice staff, a good deal with signing up to the newsletter got us 30% off 2 main meals and we both had fish and chips which was spot on, especially for under £16. Good selection of drinks available. We’ll return on a busier night to see what’s it then but it seems like a nice pub and the food was good too.
