About this Pub

The Old Crown
Close to Hillsborough (about 0.6 miles) and specifically listed to away supporters in small groups, The Old Crown Inn works as a pre-match option. Sources note it’s very busy on matchdays, shows live sport on TV, and serves food, so you can watch earlier kick-offs, grab a bite, and walk up to the ground. Overall it’s a practical stop for away fans heading to Sheffield Wednesday, provided you arrive early and keep group sizes sensible.

Pre Wednesday match day pub but also very friendly to all visitors any day if the week. Family run. Clarice was so helpful and friendly. Great place to drink, there was 3 different types of entertainment there on a Saturday evening

famous SWFC pregame bar. Also seen in The Richardson's, when Jon Richardson opened his own pub 'in Leeds'. good outdoor area too.

I've stopped here after coming back from Tramlines Festival on Sunday, there was a party going on at the back of the pub mostly by the festival goers. The atmosphere was amazing everyone was in such a hype after the festival and filled the place to the brim, DjVans was on the decks playing a great variety of tunes to please the crowd. Drinks were extremely affordable and the bar staff was very attentive. Was such a nice way to end the day for one last dance. Well done to all The Old Crown team. 👏👏👏👌👌

Not bad for a stop off drink before the dogs. Pool table available. Staff welcoming. Didn't stay long enough to get a good sense but could use a little updating. Easier said than done though with current climate - energy bills etc. Would go again though.

First independent bikers meet tonight and a good turnout. Landlord great and bar staff. Pie and pea's on menu. Music on. Coffee and tea available for those that don't drink and drive 😀. Will try and get down again soon. Every Wednesday night.
